Eastern Sweeps McNeese State to End Trip to Louisiana

LAFAYETTE, La. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University volleyball team bounced back to win its final match of the Sawyer Camillo Memorial Classic, taking down McNeese State in straight sets, 25-11, 25-20, 26-24, Saturday, Sept. 7.

Redshirt senior Cassie Haut (Monroe, Mich.-St. Mary's Catholic Central) led the way for the EMU offense on the day, finishing with 12 kills while hitting .400, and also added a season-high seven digs, and five total blocks. Junior Franki Strefling (Niles, Mich.-Buchanan) secured her sixth double-double in six games with an 11-kill, 16-dig performance.
