(EMUEagles.com) – The Valley of the Sun has treated the Eastern Michigan University men's golf team well over the years, and Monday's final round the Loyola Intercollegiate did not stray from that tradition. Head Coach Bruce Cunningham's crew notched a 277, the seventh-lowest 18-hole score in program history, on the final day of competition on the par 72, 7,015-yard Palm Valley Golf Club.
Eastern finished the three-day event with a tally of 850 (292-281-277) in second-place, just one stroke behind
Drake's 849 (286-282-281).
