YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University women's tennis team will open up the 2017 Mid-American Conference season this Friday, March 24, when it hosts Bowling Green State University at the Chippewa Racquet Club. Following the match with BGSU (4-8), the Eagles (5-9) will head to the University of Akron Sunday afternoon, March 26. Both matches are slated for 1 p.m.
In the overall series between Bowling Green and Eastern Michigan, the Eagles hold a commanding 32-12 advantage, having won seven of their last 12 contests with the Falcons. Last season, EMU defeated BGSU, 4-3, in Bowling Green.
