ORLANDO, Fla. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan tennis team split its last day in Orlando, losing 5-2 to Oakland University, before defeating St. Petersburg College 4-3, Saturday, March 5. Eastern is now 8-8 in the spring season.
"This was definitely not how we wanted to finish our last stretch of matches before conference play," said Head Coach Jayson Wiseman. "Our effort against Oakland was lackluster at best, and an incredibly disappointing loss. It was good to bounce back and get a win against St. Petes, but it was entirely too close considering the difference in levels.
