YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) -- The Eastern Michigan University women's basketball team set a program record in points, defeating Grace Chrisitan University, 133-45, tonight, inside the Convocation Center.
The Eagles (2-1, 0-0 MAC) saw six players score in double figures, led by freshman Treasure Thompson (Joliet, Ill.-Bolingbrook (Louisiana State)) and redshirt senior Danielle Rainey (Cedar Park, Texas-Vista Ridge (Florida)) who both had 20 points. Redshirt senior Areanna Combs (Oklahoma City, Okla.-Putnam City West (Oklahoma State)) put on a well-rounded performance, recording a triple-double with 12 points, 11 assists, and 10 steals.
