Eastern Finishes Strong at Ross Collegiate Classic

SOUTHERN PINES, N.C.(EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University men's golf team completed its final round at the Ross Collegiate Classic Tuesday, March 14, finishing in 16th in the extremely competitive field with a 902 (303-301-298). Junior Patrick Deardorff (Clarkston, Mich.-Clarkston) finished tied for 36th, posting an even-par 72 in the final round on the par 72, 6,713-yard Mid Pines Inn & Golf Club.

South Florida won the team race at 15-under 849, 10 shots in front of Loyola (Md.). George Washington's Jakub Hrinda (66-69-68=203) was the individual champion at 13-under, one stroke ahead of Loyola-Chicago's Timmy Crawford (70-67-68=205).
