MIDDLETON, WISC. (EMUEagles.com) -- The Eastern Michigan University cross country program battled top-notch Midwestern competition at the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational on the Thomas Zimmer Championship Golf Course in Middleton, Wis., today, Oct. 15. There, the Eagles gained solid experience in the 6K and 8K races to prepare them for the Mid-American Conference Championships, which takes place Oct. 30 at Eaglecrest Golf Course in Ypsilanti, Mich.
"It was a tough day for us," said Director/Head Coach Sue Parks. "The outcome wasn't what we were hoping for but we'll take away some positives from our races and move forward.
