(EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University tennis team made the short trip to Bloomfield Twp., Mich for a match against Oakland University today, Feb. 6, and defeated the Golden Grizzlies 6-1. The Eagles end their non-conference slate going 3-0 over a two-week stretch against OU, 6-4 overall.
"Oakland definitely came out with a lot of energy in doubles and early in single play," said Head Coach Jayson Wiseman. "We did a great job of staying with them and then we were able to pull away for the win.
