ANN ARBOR, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University women's track and field team concluded its indoor regular season schedule at the Silverston Invitational Friday, Feb. 21 inside the U-M Indoor Track Building.
Freshman Hanna Hearn (Laurel, Miss.-Brebeuf Jesuit Prep (Ind.)) earned the first event victory of her collegiate career, and was the only Eagle to top the podium during the program's second trip this season to the University of Michigan. After Hearn captured her heat of the 60-meter dash preliminaries with a personal-best time of 7.62 seconds, she shattered her career mark in the title race with a time of 7.
