(EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University swimming and diving team began the 2020 Mid-American Conference Championships tonight, Feb. 26, at the University at Buffalo Alumni Arena Pool. Through two events, the Eagles sit in fourth place with 58 points. The University of Akron leads the field with 80 points.
Senior Claire Young (Grosse Pointe Farms, Mich.-Grosse Pointe South), junior Elli Machado (Reading, Pa.-Exeter Township), junior Ali Staver (Bettendorf, Iowa-Pleasant Valley), and senior Rachel Stark (Avon, Ohio-Avon) earned 30 points for Eastern with a fourth-place, 1:40.
