The Eastern Michigan baseball stays hot with a win over Ohio State by a score of 3-1 in Columbus on Wednesday, April 12.
The Eagles jumped out on top in the first inning, scoring a pair of runs from a single off of the bat of outfielder John Montgomery, making the score 2-0. For starting pitcher Justin McMurtrey, it was easy sailing to start the game, as he scattered three hits through the first three innings. McMurtrey ran into trouble in the bottom of the fourth inning, as he let up a run, making the score 2-1, still in favor of the Eagles.
