Eagles top MSU at home, 4-3

The Eastern Michigan baseball won a close game over Michigan State University on Tuesday, April 4. The Eagles topped the Spartans by a score of 4-3 at Oestrike Stadium in Ypsilanti.

The Spartans were held in check by a strong pitching performance from junior Justin McMurtrey, who scattered four hits over four scoreless innings while striking one on 62 pitches.

The Eagles scored one in the third inning off of an rbi single from senior Jeremy Stidham, and another run in the fourth inning off of a single from senior Marquise Gill, making the score 2-0 in favor of the Eagles.
