The Eagles (15-16, 7-11 MAC) came within two at the 1:33 mark, but the Rockets (16-15, 9-9 MAC) converted free throws down the stretch to seal the regular season finale.
EMU finished the game 23-of-61 (37.7 percent) from the floor, sinking four three-pointers. Eastern controlled the offensive boards to the tune of 11-8, while also winning the battle in the paint, 38-36.
