MOREHEAD, Ky. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University softball team bounced back from a 13-7 loss at the hands of Morehead State University in game one to take game two, 8-5, securing a split with MSU (9-8), March 12.

In the circle, freshman Nicolle Miranda (Wilmington, Calif.-Port of Los Angeles) was credited with the game one loss, dropping her record to 3-6 on the season.
Sophomore Haley Hostetler (Woodlan, Ind.-New Haven) provided the Eagles with a bright spot at the dish in game one, going 3-for-3 with a double and a RBI.
