ALLENDALE, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University track & field program put on a strong showing in the first day of its final indoor regular season meet at the GVSU Big Meet, Feb. 12-13, inside the Kelly Family Sports Center. The meet featured a large array of talent from around the country, and from all three NCAA divisions as well as NAIA.
From Division I, EMU was accompanied by Ball State, Central Michigan, Illinois State, Loyola-Chicago, Indiana State, Miami (Ohio), Northern Illinois, and Western Illinois. Among the Division II counterparts were Ashland, Davenport, Ferris State, host Grand Valley State, Hillsdale, Illinois-Springfield, Indianapolis, Lake Superior State, Lewis, Malone, Northwood, Queens University of Charlotte, Tiffin, Saginaw Valley State, Walsh, and Wingate.
