LONG BEACH, Calif./AZUSA, Calif./NORWALK, Calif. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University men's track and field team competed in a trio of meets yesterday, April 14, out in California. The highlight of the day came in the weight throw at the Beach Pacific Coast Invite, where a new program record was set.
First off, the Eagles turned in a fantastic day at the Beach Pacific Coast Invite, taking home 11 top-three finishes. In the 100m dash, freshman Aitor Ekobo (Madrid, Spain - Jose Luis Lopez Aranguren Secondary School) placed third, crossing the finish line in 10.
