OXFORD, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) – Although it feels as if the outdoor season just started, the Eastern Michigan University track & field program is ready to showcase its talents at the Mid-American Conference Outdoor Championships. The league's two-day meet takes place Friday-Saturday, May 7-8, and will be hosted by Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Friday's action is set to begin at 10:30 a.m. with the women's hammer throw, while the men's hammer throw kicks off Saturday's events at 9:30 a.m.
"We've had a strong outdoor season and we're excited about heading to Oxford to compete," said Director/Head Coach Sue Parks.
