Eagles Ready for CAA Championships

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – Coming off of the best finish in program history at last season's race, the Eastern Michigan University rowing squad will be one-of-six teams fighting for the 2016 Colonial Athletic Association Rowing Championship Sunday, May 15, at Mercer Lake in West Windsor, N.J.

EMU, Delaware, Drexel, and CAA-newcomer Villanova are all in search of their first conference titles, while 2015 CAA Champion Northeastern has claimed the title five times, and Buffalo and Boston have each been crowned champions once.

"The team is really excited for the CAA Championship," Head Coach Kemp Savage said.
