YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — Hot off its 71st consecutive Mid-American Conference dual victory, the Eastern Michigan University men's swimming & diving team returns to the pool for a tri-dual against Wayne State University and Tiffin University, Saturday, Jan. 21, at Jones Natatorium.
The Eagles opened 2017 with a 150-125 win over Ball State University, Jan. 14. Eastern Michigan won 15-of-16 events and 13 different Eagles registered wins on the way to victory. Sophomore Tom Gillis (Halifax, Nova Scotia-Citadel) grabbed first-place on both the 1 and 3 meter springboards as the only diver to break the 300-point barrier in both events.
