AUSTIN/SAN MARCOS, Texas & Raleigh, N.C. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University track & field program finished day two of a three-meet week, Friday, March 26, in Austin/San Marcos, Texas, and Raleigh, N.C.
The most spectacular performance of the day came from sophomore Miranda Cadwell (Plainfield, Ill.-Plainfield South) at the Raleigh Relays. The Illinois native put on a show in the discus, hurling a throw of 44.14m to set a new school record. The previous record at EMU of 43.96m was set by former Eagle Jada Taylor in 2016.
