YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) - After opening the 2016 season at the Detroit Titan Invitational, the Eastern Michigan University men's cross country team will now flock to East Lansing, Mich. for the Spartan Invitational, Sept. 16. After running a younger, less experienced lineup in the opening weekend, this weekend's lineup will likely see more veteran faces on the course.
"The MSU race will be the first evaluation of our fitness from what the guys did over the summer," remarked Head Coach John Goodridge. "We've only been together the past two weeks and with the weather having been quite warm to date, we really haven't yet seen much stress in our training.
