Eagles Head to Chattannooga for Final Fall Race

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University rowing team concludes its fall slate of racing at the 37th annual Head of the Hooch Saturday, Nov. 2. The 5k course takes place on the Tennessee River from Ross' Landing Park.

The annual event, held the first Saturday and Sunday of November, is one of the world's largest rowing regattas. Over two days, more than 2,000 boats are raced by competitors from 40 different states.

The Eagles will begin racing at 10:27 a.m. with the Novice 4+, followed by the Championship 8+ at 12:57 p.m. The Novice 8+ will begin at 2:23 p.
