CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) — ESPN has selected the Eastern Michigan University men's basketball team's contest with the University of Akron scheduled Saturday, Feb. 11, as one of its wildcard games. With the selection of the contest, the game day will move from Saturday to Friday, Feb. 10, and be played at 7 p.m. on ESPNU.
WEMU (89.1 FM) will provide audio coverage of the game.
The Eagles (12-8, 4-3 MAC) will look to avenge a 70-63 setback versus Mid-American Conference leading Zips (17-3, 7-0 MAC) earlier this season, Jan. 20.
In addition to the change of date and time to the men's basketball game, the EMU gymnastics and wrestling "Beauty and the Beast" event will be moved to Bowen Field House.
