YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University cross country program will travel to Louisville, Ky. for the Live in Lou Cross Country Classic, hosted by the University of Louisville. The meet is slated for a 9:30 a.m. ET start Saturday, Oct. 1 at the E.P. "Tom" Sawyer State Park.
The men's team will kick off the day in the Gold Collegiate Division 8k. The Gold Division is the top competition level for the meet, headlined by US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) national vote-receiving University of Tennessee. In the Great Lakes Region, four USTFCCCA ranked teams will be making the trek to Louisville, including Miami University (6th in region), Eastern (8th), the University of Cincinnati (11th), and Kent State University (12th).
