RICHMOND, Va. (EMUEagles.com) - The Eastern Michigan University women's rowing team's First Varsity Eight boat was named the Colonial Athletic Association's Boat of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday, April 9. The weekly honor is the Green and White's first in the 2018-19 rowing season.
The Varsity Eight opened their spring competition season with a top finish at the Cooper Invite, April 7. The first-place finishing boat was made up of seniors Christa Maddick (Stockbridge, Mich.-Stockbridge), Addison Oblanas (Seattle, Wash.-Seattle Academy), Haley Dutton (West Salem, Wis.
