Eagles fall to Notre Dame on the road, 0-5

The Eastern Michigan baseball teams' bats were held silent by Notre Dame on Wednesday, April 26. The Eagles fell to the Fighting Irish by a score of 0-5 in South Bend, IN.

Runs were hard to come by on Wednesday night, as the Eagles offense scattered nine hits over nine innings without crossing the plate once. The Eagles only got one extra base hit the entire game, coming off of the bat of right fielder John Montgomery in the top of the second inning.

Despite the lack of offense in Wednesday’s affair, the Eagles held the Fighting Irish to just one run through the first seven innings.
