LOUISVILLE, Ky. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University baseball team couldn't get the offense going on a chilly afternoon in Louisville in a 13-0 defeat to the No. 6 University of Louisville, Friday, March 3.
The Eagles (2-9) could only muster one hit on the day, as well as drawing five walks. Two of those free trips came from freshman Drake Peggs (Knightstown, Ind.-Knightstown), who now has a conference-best 10 on the season.
Louisville (9-0) got it started in the first inning after runners were placed on the corners following a hit by pitch and single.
