(EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University women's gymnastics team kicked off the 2017 season Friday night, Jan. 6, ultimately falling to the University of Kentucky, 195.075 – 192.050. The Eagles started off strong on vault and bars, but faltered late on beam. "I thought we had some really good performances today," said Head Coach Sarah Brown. "Ciara Gresham had a great day, competing on beam for the first time. Megan Marino had a nice floor routine, and Catie Conrad also had some good routines.
