STARKVILLE, Miss. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University baseball team fell to Mississippi State University, 14-0, in the first game of the three-game series between the teams, March 12, at Dudy Noble Field.
Junior Will Oberg (Wayzata, Minn-Wayzata (Heartland)) extended his hitting streak to five games, recording the first hit of the night for Eastern. Senior Nick Jones (Battle Creek, Mich.-Lakeview) and fellow upperclassman Christian Bault (Maineville, Ohio-Archbishop Moeller (Lincoln Trail)) each added a hit round to out the Green and White's offensive efforts on the night.
