Eagles Fall Short in Series Finale to CMU

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University baseball team couldn't quite complete the weekend sweep, falling in game three of the series, 3-2, to Central Michigan University, Sunday afternoon, May 1, at Oestrike Stadium.

Despite outhitting the Chippewas (12-32, 6-9 MAC) 10-8, the Eagles (17-23, 8-7 MAC) couldn't push enough runners around, marking the third time this season EMU has lost when outhitting their opponent. EMU also fell to 6-4 in one-run contests this season.
