(EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University men's basketball team was tied going into halftime, but faded in the second half in a 79-71 defeat to Ohio University Tuesday night, Feb. 14, inside the Convocation Center. The Eagles (13-13, 5-8 MAC) cut the lead to four within the final minute of play, but clutch free throw shooting from the Bobcats (16-8, 8-5 MAC) sealed the game.
As a team, the Green and White finished 23-of-67 (34.3 percent) from the field, also sinking eight three-pointers to match the Bobcats. EMU forced 18 turnovers from Ohio, turning them into 10 steals and 11 points off turnovers.
