KALAMAZOO, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – Led by a pair of second-place finishes, the Eastern Michigan University women's golf team finished atop the leaderboard at the Kzoo Classic, Tuesday, Oct. 4. Both junior Thelma Beck (Baden, France-Lycee Sainte Anne) and senior Kelsey Murphy (Plymouth, Mich.-Plymouth) tied for second-place with three-round totals of 222 on the par-72, 6,163 yard Moors Golf Club course.
Overall, the victory marked the 20th title in the program's history and first since the Eagles won the Middleburg Bank Intercollegiate, March 31, 2015.
