DETROIT, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University men's basketball team battled on the road to defeat the University of Detroit Mercy, 55-51, Saturday, Dec. 7 inside historic Calihan Hall.
The Eagles (8-1, 0-0 MAC) led the Detroit Mercy Titans (1-7, 0-0 HL) for the entire contest and led by as many as 13 in the game. The Titans fought back in the second half, pulling to within four with 1:15 left in the game, but the Eagles defense closed out the contest.
