The Eastern Michigan women’s gymnastics team was able to pick up one win over Bowling Green State University but fell to Western Michigan University in this afternoon’s Mid-American Conference tri-meet in Kalamazoo.
Eastern Michigan (4-1, 1-1 MAC) finished with a season high score of 195.050 but Western Michigan (3-0, 2-0 MAC) finished with a 195.275. Bowling Green (0-4, 0-2 MAC) finished with a 193.575. The Eagles looked to contributions from sophomores Kendall Valentin and Catie Conrad, who both competed all-around scoring 39.025 and 38.950, respectively.
“They’re doing a great job,” EMU coach Jay Santos said. “They’re working hard.
