The Eastern Michigan University’s league office announced the women’s soccer team was awarded Mid-American Conference postseason honors, Thursday, Nov. 2.
Junior Peyton Davis earned an All-MAC Second Team honors while freshman Madeline Olson earned an All-Freshman selection.
Davis became the 20th player in school history to land on the all-conference Second Team, all while having a career season for the Eagles. She was one of four Eagle players to start every game in 2017 and she made the most of her minutes by recording five goals and 12 assists, all of which were career highs. Like Davis, Olson started every game this season -- the only freshman to do so -- while ranking second on the team in goals.
