YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University men's basketball team capped off its non-conference schedule with a convincing 98-72 victory over Long Beach State University today, Dec. 29. The Eagles (8-5) were hot on the offensive end of the floor throughout the game, downing the 49ers (5-11) with five Eagles scoring in double figures.
As a team, EMU finished the day 29-of-54 (54 percent) from the field, including dropping seven shots from behind the arc. The Green and White controlled the boards, outrebounding the 49ers by a 35-27 margin. Additionally, the squad forced 20 LBSU turnovers, turning those into 25 points.
