Eagles close the weekend with a win and a draw on Senior Day

After winning Friday Oct 14. against the Ohio University Bobcats 2-0 Kaylin Williams was happy about getting her fifth career shutout for the Eastern Michigan University women’s soccer team.

“I wanted to not let them score”, said Williams. “The whole team worked really hard the whole game defensively so that was kind of my motivation for them and to get a big save at the end.”

Within the first 70 seconds of action, the Eagles (5-8-2. MAC 3-4-0) were on the board behind Senior Rachel Washburn first ever career goal. After a save to keep a one goal lead over the Bobcats, senior Stef Barcelos gave the Eagles a 2-0 lead after a goal in the 37 minute of action.
