The Eastern Michigan gymnastics team wrapped up its season at the NCAA Regionals in Champaign, Ill. on April 1.
The team finished in sixth out of schools that included Ohio State, Illinois, Iowa, Oregon State, and UCLA. The team had a score of 195.400 which was just .3 behind the fifth place finisher.
"I'm so proud of how the team competed today," said coach Sarah Brown. "I thought the judging was very tight throughout, but our team came out and had another strong meet."
On the vault, the Eagles scored a 48.850 on the vault. Kendall Valentin led the way with a fourth place performance with her 9.
