MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – Battling through sleet and snow, the Eastern Michigan University soccer team clinched their spot in the Mid-American Conference tournament with a 3-1 win over Central Michigan University, Oct. 31.
The Eagles dominated possession from the start, getting three shots off and keeping the ball in their attacking half for the first 10 minutes. However, it was Central Michigan that opened the scoring, finding the back of the net in the 14th minute to take a 1-0 lead.
Eastern turned things around 13 minutes later. In the 27 minute, redshirt senior Kristin Hullibarger (Brooklin, Ontario-Donald A.
