AKRON, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University men's basketball team got into an early hole they could not get out of in a 70-63 defeat to MAC leader Akron University, Friday night, Jan. 20, at James A. Rhodes Arena. It was just EMU's (12-7, 4-2 MAC) second loss in its last eight games, while Akron improved to 16-3 and 6-0 in the MAC.
