Eagles Can't Keep Up in 8-4 Defeat to Toledo

TOLEDO, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University baseball team fell for the second consecutive time to the University of Toledo, 8-4, Friday afternoon, May 20, at Scott Park.

The Eagles (20-33, 10-13 MAC) pieced together eight hits in the contest, and were once again led by the senior Mitchell McGeein (Calgary, Alberta-Vauxhall). The veteran had two hits, including his second home run in as many games, the 13th of his season. He now has 32 for his career. Redshirt junior Michael Mioduszewski (Dexter, Mich.-Dexter) had the other two-hit game, collecting a pair of singles as well as an RBI.
