MORGANTOWN, W. Va. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University baseball team dropped a road contest to the West Virginia Mountaineers by 5-1 decision Wednesday night, April 6.

Five pitchers combined to go the distance for EMU (12-16, 3-1 MAC), with juniors Josh Bravin (Las Vegas, Nev.-Silverado (Palomar)) and Matthew Beaton (Guelph, Ontario-Bishop Macdonnell Catholic) combining for two innings with no runs allowed. Freshman Caleb Hester (Coloma, Mich.-Coloma) also didn't allow an earned run in 1.1 innings pitched.

Offensively, EMU only mustered three hits on the night.
