CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) – Eastern Michigan University senior swimmer Delaney Duncan (Galesburg, Ill.-Galesburg) was named Mid-American Conference Swimmer of the Week, the league office announced Wednesday, Jan. 23. Duncan earns her first weekly nod by the MAC this season and the second of her career. The award is also the second conference weekly honor for the Eagles this season.
Duncan posted two top-10 league marks in the Eagles' 159-141 defeat of the University at Buffalo, Jan. 19. Her top finish in the 100 Breaststroke with a time of 1:01.53 was the second-fastest time by a MAC swimmer this season, behind only her own time of 1:00.
