Duncan Achieves All-American Honorable Mention Status at NCAA Championships

ATLANTA (EMUEagles.com) - With a 14th-place finish in the 100 Breastroke, freshman swimmer Delaney Duncan (Galesburg, Ill.-Galesburg) earned All-American Honorable Mention distinction Firday, March 18, becoming the fifth Eagle to do so in program history.

The first freshman in program history to qualify for nationals, Duncan improved upon her 14th-seed in prelims. Clocking in with a time of 59.90, Duncan's time ranked 12th and earned the Galesburg, Ill. product a lane in the consolation finals. Her preliminary time also secured her All-American Honorable Mention recognition giving Eastern Michigan its first All-American in women's swimming since the 2012-13 season.
