(EMUEagles.com) -- Senior Aaron Dolney (Plymouth, Mich.-Detroit Country Day-Nebraska-Hillsborough C.C.) put together a brilliant showing at the plate Wednesday, hitting two homers, but the Eastern Michigan University baseball team fell to the Oakland University Golden Grizzlies 9-7.
Junior Jagger Jefferies (Barnesville, Ohio-Barnesville-Bryant & Startton C.C.) (1-1) got the ball to start for Eastern Michigan (16-19, 6-12 MAC) and took the loss. Senior Trevor House (Okeana, Ohio-Ross) was a bright spot for the Eagles, coming out of the bullpen and throwing one shutout inning, allowing no hits, with one walk and one strikeout.
