Senior Rachel Washburn (Hartland, Mich.-Hartland) scored the first goal of her career while sophomore Kaylin Williams (Kansas City, Mo.-Winnetonka) made two saves to earn her fifth career shutout as the Eagles (5-8-2, 3-4-0 MAC) recorded their third consecutive win.
Drawing an early foul just inside midfield, Washburn stepped up from her post at center back to deliver the service. Washburn's soaring kick, tucked inside the far post for the first strike of the match, and the first goal of the Hartland, Mich.
