(EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University men's golf team concluded day one at the 22nd Annual Windon Memorial Classic in 13th-place Sunday, Sept. 23, at the par-72, 7,202-yard Knollwood Club Golf Course. Sophomore Ty Celone (Long Sault, Ontario, Canada-St Joseph's Catholic) continued his strong start to the season with a 146 (71-75) to sit in a tie for 27th-place.
Michigan State holds a seven stroke advantage on the leaderboard headed into the final round, as the Spartans fired a nine-under 567 (281-286).
