YORKTOWN, Ind. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University women's golf team tied for sixth-place among 12 teams during the first two rounds of the Cardinal Classic hosted by Ball State University Monday, Sept. 19, posting a second round 291 to tie with Purdue Fort Wayne after shooting 305 in the morning round.

Loyola University finished atop the leader board at 586 with Western Michigan University (589), Oakland University (590), the University of Akron (592), and Ball State (593) following closely behind.

Ball State's Kiah Parrott was the top individual at nine-under 135 (67-68), as Loyola's Serena Shah and Purdue Fort Wayne's Anna Olafsdootir tied for second-place, swinging for 140.
