U.S. Olympic Trials Information
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University women's track and field team will be represented in the upcoming U.S. Olympic Trials, July 1-10, by volunteer assistant coach Candice Davis-Price.
Davis-Price, who competed for the University of Southern California during her collegiate career, will take part in the 100m hurdles. She qualified into the trials on the heels of running a time of 12.75 seconds, which exceeded the Olympic qualifying standard of 13 seconds. This marks the second time that Davis-Price will be competing at the Olympic Trials, as she also took part in the event in 2008, where she finished just .
