CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) -- The Eastern Michigan University men's and women's cross country teams and two individuals earned U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic honors announced by the organization, Thursday, Jan. 27.
In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period.
Overall, there were 168 women's programs that were named All-Academic Teams for their efforts during the 2021 season. Georgia State University paced the nation with a cumulative 3.96 GPA. The EMU women's team recorded a 3.
